YN 623 launching
30.04.2019
On the 30th of April 2019 we launched a modern, partially equipped twin-rigger fishing trawler. The vessel developed for Famen Maaskant Shipyards Stellendam will be named Spes Nova. It will be transferred to the shipowner, Dutch fishing company in October 2019. We used two floating cranes for Spes Nova trawler launching: Conrad Consul and Maja. The vessel has been lifted from the wharf and then put on the water. Conrad Consul is the biggest floating crane in Poland. It’s owned by Marine Projects shipyard from Gdańsk. The crane is 44,82 m long, 21 m width and has 2m immersion. Its side height is 3,7 m and maximal capacity reaches 400 tones. Maja, however, is owned by Polskie Ratownictwo Okrętowe. This floating crane has 55,49m length, 25,02m width and 2,85m of immersion. Its operating arm rotates by 360°. The main hook has capacity of 330 t while additional one – 100t.
